Harvest of Artists 2010

The Muddy Creek Artists Guild will hold their second annual Harvest of Artists Oct.1 to Oct. 3 in Galesville Memorial Hall, 952 Main Street, Galesville, MD. More than 60 local artists will display their painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, textiles and works in other media.
The gallery show will combine traditional art with the "eclectic originality" portrayed by some Guild members. Many, if not most of the works have local themes.

Artists Reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 2nd
Gallery open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Music Reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Gallery open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closing Party from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The focus of the Guild is to show and sell local artwork throughout the greater South County area in Maryland while educating members and the public about art, and contributing to the quality of life in South County.
Hydrocephalus WALK

Join your friends and neighbors walk, run and ride to spread awareness and raise funds to improve the lives of individuals affected by hydrocephalus. The is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for hydrocephalus programs and research. Your contribution will directly support the Hydrocephalus Association's mission to fund innovative research and provide support, education and advocacy for individuals, families and professionals dealing with hydrocephalus.
